- This book ended up being a decent read but I have to say, it did start to irritate me about halfway through. I grasped the concept of The Order and their protection of secrets but I started to get impatient with the fact that one particular fact was never addressed. What the heck were they protecting the secrets from or for? As far as they knew, there were no women or children left so, obviously, there could be no continuation of their race. If there is no next generation, there is no hope. I understand the need for laws and order, to retain their "humanity" (for lack of a better term), but when those very laws interfere with the possibility of a future generation... You would think they would be more flexible to account for the very possibility that they all have to be wishing for. To have nobody question this, or rebel against it, is unrealistic. This entire storyline is moving forward so slowly that it's beginning to make me impatient.
1 star = awful! want my money back!

Ashlee has lost her way since she is no longer on her ship. All the Zmaj men are taken so when she is offered an oppprtunity to leave the city she takes it. That is where she meets Khal.
Khal hasn't seen a female in forever and when he sees Ashlee he cannot take his eyes off of her. There are other people to consider though. What will happen next? - Removing the starch
This is my first foray into the Red Planet Dragons, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I like the way the author has the two cultures interact with each and the slow way they find their way to the truth. It’s a shame their distrust causes conflict, but I think the counselor realizes that in the end. This story is great, the characters engaging and the HEA is worth reading. I can’t wait to see what happens next, but in the mean time I will get to reading the first 14 books. - What do you get when you mix human women with a secret dragon order? You get this book which is absolutely phenomenal. From one page turn to the next you just keep flipping. She draws you into the characters till you feel like you're with them in the story experience experience feeling the feelings they feel. If you're looking for a book to take you away from your everyday reality for just a little while ... you definitely want to buy it. Highly recommended

I love that "Dragon's Temptation" dives RIGHT In & interconnects with other Stories; yet, your not too lost reading it as a Standalone... How Awesomely Sweet is that!!! I haven't read ALL these books, but I'm never lost when I come back again! I Love it! Although, I'm usually itching to go back & find out what I might've missed in this Series... LOL!

This story continues to introduce The Order that Archion (Dragon's Secret) comes from. I do like that we're getting to see a different side of Zmaj with the Order, but there are still a lot of mysteries yet to be solved centering around the Order and how they operate.
Khal is Archion's brother and I thought it was interesting to see some of his thoughts about Archion (both his worry and his obvious respect). Ashlee was an okay character, but I didn't find anything about her that drew me in. The romance between Khal and Ashlee was very much dependent on the mate attraction, I just wish there had been a bit more direct interaction between them to really build a romance rather than just a physical attraction.
