- I loved,loved this book. The characters were well developed and compelling,strong,sexy and beautiful. The writing flowed easily and effortless. The lovemaking was off the charts. I also enjoyed reading where a great outcome from a very inhumane treatment and one of the worst events in the USA history generated strong and powerful people. I only wish that Cuff would have return and beat up ☠the man who whipped Hanna. You know , a midnight raid on the plantation where Hanna have loved would have made me fell as if Hanna was averaged. Overall an outstanding book and you will not be disappointed by selecting this book.
- The Pirate's Princess was HOT and a page turner, found it hard to put down. Once again Vivian has outdone herself & written another fantastic book. Love all of Ms. Lee's books! Now to wait for your next book! Keep writing & I will definitely keep reading.
- Yeah! Ms. Lee can really tap up something wonderful on those computer keys. This book was just great. I loved reading the second book in this series. The history was phenomenal. The African American story is one filled with great highs and heart wrenching lows. I just wish we truly understood as a people just how awesome we are. Excellent job Ms. Lee; keep writing and I'll keep reading!
- Just as the previous book The Private’s Princess is a bonified winner. Cuff brings sexy heart stopping private’ image to life and Hanna has the feistiness that rivals Charlys’. Good to see Charly and Syd return; definitely a page turner. I really want this series to continue with hopes of love finding Charlys’ three very handsome uncles😊
- Once again this author does not leave the reader wanting. Her ability to engage the reader through the depths of her characters is impressive. The only disappointment is the stories eventually end. ALL of her books are amazing. This sequel was rich in every aspect of this genre. An excellent read.
- What an amazing story. I throughly enjoyed Cuff & Hannah’s journey. She was the one who softened his heart and made him believe in everlasting love. The story was well written and so authentic. Thank you again Ms Lee for the wonderful adventure.

- This book was a complete page turner. I can see why so many other readers gave it 5 stars! It was different from other books set in the 1800s where it dealt with slavery and pirates which was something I never read n a romance novel. I was so sad when the book ended! Loved it!
