The SelfEsteem Workbook for Teens Activities to Help You Build Confidence and Achieve Your Goals Lisa M Schab LCSW 8601419638352 Books Reviews

  • I enjoy all the books in Lisa Schab's collection. The two I use the most are this one and the Anxiety Workbook for Teens. I work as a therapist in a high school setting and I find that this book has a lot to offer. There is a diverse collection of activities. Some are more "juvenile" than others and my teens don't always relate. However, the vast majority of this book is right on point with addressing esteem beliefs. Some of my students even request opportunities to complete activities in the Self-Esteem Workbook for Teens. I definitely recommend for any middle school/ high school level therapists , social workers, or school counselors.
  • This series of teen workbooks is one of the most valuable resources I have found for counseling my at risk teenage students! I purchased the anxiety, anger, self esteem and overcoming negative feelings handbooks and I was honestly nervous. So many of the tools avaliable to address teen needs are dated and are taken as nothing but a joke by those they are designed to help. My 6th-12th graders happily and often eagerly engage in the questionnaires and activities in these books! They also have told me that they feel like they really do help. That in and of itself is worth it to me!
  • This book has been helpful for my daughter. She has ADD & with that come self-esteem issues. She's able to work as she is comfortable. She's 15 & has found it useful.
  • Purchased for my teen. Appreciates that it is interactive but wishes the activities were clearer. However, teenager is using it and is finding it helpful so I think that is a plus over other self-help workbooks out there for adolescents
  • Great product to use with my adolescent group. Can be adapted for adults too. Great product.
  • Is similar to a school text book so it was easy for my 11 year old twins to use. Very informative.
  • I'm going through this workbook with our granddaughter. It is a great tool to help young girls grow into confident self-aware young women!
  • A total steal at less than $6!! It's about 180 pages of workbook, and it's got great activities for teens. A must-have for therapists and counselors, especially at this price!!
